What happens at the dinners – what
time do they begin and how long do they last into the night?
The evenings begin with socializing and
cocktails of local wine and beer, iced tea or water at 5:00 pm.
Optional farm tours are also offered before dinner. Just before
sunset, guests are seated at one long elegant table and dine by
candlelight. A typical dinner consists of approximately five
courses and wine and usually last two and half to three hours.
During the meal, the local producers who provided ingredients
for the menu talk a bit about their respective farms and diners
are encouraged to ask questions.
What should I wear?
Dinner is literally in the field.
Therefore, the terrain will be uneven and possibly muddy, so
please wear practical shoes. Dress is typically casual, but most
importantly we urge you to dress comfortably. Dinners will be
held rain or shine, so please wear or bring appropriate layers
as the temperature drops after sunset.
What if it rains?
If Mother Nature rains on our dinner, we
will set up in the dairy barn.
What’s for dinner?
All of the food for the dinners comes
from St. Brigid’s Farm and local producers. Much of the dinner
is cooked on site. Our menu will be different each year
depending on the availability of local ingredients and the
creative flair of our chef. However, we can assure you that you
will have an incredible dining experience with the most local,
fresh and flavorful foods available!!
How many people attend each dinner?
We have enough seats for 100 people.
Can I specify the people I want to sit
next to?
The seating is at one long table so you
can sit next to your friends and sit across from someone you
will be meeting for the first time including the farmers who
have contributed to the meal.
What is the price for the dinners and
what is included in that price?
The price of the dinner has ranged from
$75 to $150 per person and is all inclusive. Any proceeds above
the cost of the dinner are donated to charity. The charity is
identified when the details of the dinner are announced
How do I RSVP?

account.
Please make your check payable to St.
Brigid’s farm and mail it to: St. Brigid’s Farm 12246 Locust
Grove Rd. Kennedyville, MD 21645
Can you accommodate children at the
events?
Due to the length of the dinners we do
not consider them suitable for young children.
When will the date for the next Field
to Fork be announced?
We start planning the dinner in August
and will announce the date on our blog site as well as send an
e-mail to our previous guests and others interested. If you
would like to be on that list, send us an e-mail.
